We are pleased to introduce our new Admissions coordinator, Mrs. Wanchen Villegas! She is a CDA mom and we are excited to have her on board. Mrs. Villegas and her family attend Chinese Community Church of Indianapolis.
We caught up with Mrs. Villegas in order to help the community learn more about her. We hope you enjoy getting to know her a bit better though her answers.
1) Are you married? Kids?
Married to Chris with three daughters ( Lydia 1st grade, Pamela jr K and Mia 3).
2) Where did you go to school?
Grace College and Seminary, Oxford University
3) What is your favorite snack or treat?
Taiwanese popcorn chicken and boba tea
4) What gets you up in the morning?
Tea
5) What are your favorite hobbies?
Bible study fellowship and walks on Monon trail.
6) What is your favorite book and why?
Mere Christianity, it is simply deep and inspiring.
7) How long have you lived in Indiana and why do you enjoy living here?
My family moved here in July 2020 for my husband’s job. It’s been wonderful raising our family here with our church family and friends.
8) Describe a meaningful event in your life and God’s role in that event.
God has brought me to many places to experience Him and most significantly to realize my passion for Christian education when I worked as a graduate admissions counselor at Wheaton College for seven years.
9) What historical figure would you like to spend a day with?
Beatrix Potter
10) What would we be surprised to learn about you?
I love to paint and enjoy Chinese calligraphy.
