
We are so excited to announce that Mrs. Anne Essex has joined our faculty as an Office Administrative Assistant. Previously she worked for 22 years in payroll accounting, personal finance, insurance, and banking. Her and her family attend Life Church Noblesville.
We caught up with Mrs. Essex in order to help the community learn more about her.
1) Are you married? Kids?
I have been married to Cory for 15.5 years, and we have Clay (2nd) and Maggie (Jr.K)
2) Where did you go to school?
Master of Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan, Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business from Indiana Wesleyan University
3) What is your favorite snack or treat?
Anything mint chocolate!
4) What gets you up in the morning?
My 5 year old! Otherwise, the promise of a new mercies each morning.
5) What are your favorite hobbies?
Gardening and landscaping, camping in new places of the US, reading on my back porch, baking cookies
6) What is your favorite book and why?
Every time I read the Bible I see a story in a fresh light with new significance, even if I have read that story a hundred times!
7) How long have you lived in Indiana and why do you enjoy living here?
I have lived in central Indian for 33 years! I love the seasonal changes in Indiana. We have the BEST summers, beautiful fall color and weather, and I have even grown to tolerate winter since my husband builds me lots of fires!
8) Describe a meaningful event in your life and God’s role in that event.
Both of our children are miracles in every sense of the word. We spent many years and many tears waiting for God’s blessing of children on our lives. Every step God was clearly in the details, laying the foundation for our family of four.
9) What historical figure would you like to spend a day with?
I would love to spend one day with Elisabeth Elliot to hear about her God given love for missions and the remote tribal people she fought hard to reach for Jesus. Her faithfulness to her calling and to God’s kingdom are inspiring.
10) What would we be surprised to learn about you?
I have been inside the Oval Office, Roosevelt Room, and Vice Presidents office in the White House!
