Frequently asked questions

Classical Christian education is a time-honored approach that focuses on teaching students through the classical trivium: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. This method emphasizes the development of critical thinking, mastery of language, and a deep understanding of Christian faith and character. It integrates traditional subjects with a focus on virtue, wisdom, and a Christian worldview.

Our school serves students from Junior Kindergarten (age 4) – 12th grade offering a well-rounded classical education for both elementary and secondary students.

The classical curriculum emphasizes a step-by-step approach to learning, starting with foundational knowledge (Grammar), followed by logical reasoning and analysis (Logic), and culminating in effective communication and persuasion (Rhetoric). This method promotes not only academic achievement but also personal growth and moral development.

Our core curriculum includes subjects such as:

  • Latin (to develop language skills and understanding of Western literature)
  • Mathematics (with an emphasis on logic and reasoning)
  • History (from a Christian perspective, focusing on the great ideas of Western civilization)
  • Science (studied through the lens of God’s created world)
  • Literature (classic works from a Christian perspective)
  • Philosophy and Theology (introducing students to the great thinkers and truths of Christianity)
  • Fine Arts and Physical Education (to nurture creativity and well-being)

We integrate the Christian faith throughout all aspects of the school, from Bible studies and prayer to incorporating Christian perspectives in every subject. The aim is to foster students’ spiritual growth and to help them develop a Christ-centered worldview that informs their academic pursuits and personal lives.

Latin is an integral part of our curriculum because it strengthens the mind, enhances understanding of English and other Romance languages, and helps students engage more deeply with classic Christian texts. It is also key to understanding the foundational works of Western civilization and Christian theology.
