LEADERSHIP

Jason Barney

Head of School

Mr. Barney was awarded the Henry Salvatori Prize for Excellence in Teaching from Hillsdale College in 2012. He completed his MA in Biblical Exegesis. He has written 5 books (and counting...) on classical Christian education. He is a founding director of Educational Renaissance, which seeks to promote a rebirth of ancient wisdom for the modern world. He and his family attend The Fields Church.

DeeDee Feeney

Dean of Early Childhood (JrK and K) and Parent Engagement

Mrs. Feeney has been with Coram Deo Academy in various roles for 14 years. She and her family attend Community Bible Fellowship.

Kimberly Warman

Dean of Lower School (1st-6th Grades)

Mrs. Warman has been serving at CDA for many years. She holds a B.A. from Hillsdale College in English with a specialty in Classical Education, which she passionately promotes. She and her husband are members of College Park Church.

Tori Hickok

Dean of Upper School (7th-12th Grades)

Mrs. Hickok graduated from Maranatha Baptist University with a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education. After teaching in a public school and over a decade of homeschooling, she has now found delight in teaching math and science classically in a classroom setting. Currently, she is reveling in the joy of a Master's degree in Liberal Arts from St. John's College in Annapolis. She attends Pennington Park Church with her husband and six children.

Garrett Saul

Dean of House & Student Life

Mr. Saul graduated with his B.A. in Biblical Exposition from Moody Bible Institute and then received his MDiv. from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. He has been a youth pastor for 4 years, solo pastor for 3 years, and a worship pastor for 2 years. He is entering into his fourth year of teaching. He is ordained as a deacon in the Anglican Church of North America and attends All Souls Anglican Church in Carmel, Indiana.

Aaron Delph

Dean of Chapel & Advising

Mr. Delph is a native Hoosier who holds a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Purdue University as well as an M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He developed a passion for working with the next generation during his time working in church ministry, which led to seeking a career as a teacher in 2022. He and his wife Becky became a family of three in 2025 with the birth of their son, Theo. They are members of The Fields Church in Westfield and enjoy long walks, traveling, and making Theo laugh.

Julie Griffin

Dean of Curriculum

Mrs. Griffin graduated from Pensacola Christian College and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She and her family attend Harvest Church.

Laurel Smith

Dean of Testing & Interventions

Mrs. Smith holds a B.S. in Education from Ball State University and a Master of Arts from Indiana Wesleyan University. She and her husband attend N'Spire in Westfield.

Susan MacKay

Business Office and Communications Director

Mrs. MacKay holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University with a specialization in Hospitality Management. She and her family attend Christ's Community Church in Fishers.

Linda Hoyt

Receptionist

Mrs. Hoyt holds a R.N. Degree and B.A. in Liberal Arts and Education from California Baptist University. She and her family attend Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zionsville.

Anne Essex

Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Essex holds a Master of Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan, Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business from Indiana Wesleyan University. Her family attends Life Church Noblesville.

Abby Crawford

Jr. Kindergarten - 5 day

Mrs. Crawford studied Human Services at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and Catechesis and Christian Formation at Trinity Anglican Seminary in Pittsburgh. Abby and her family attend All Souls Anglican Church .

Christine Szymczak

Jr. Kindergarten - 3 day

Mrs. Szymczak graduated Indiana Wesleyan with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She and her family attend Pennington Park Church.

Miss Park holds a degree in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in Global Studies and Learning Science from Purdue University. She attends the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Lafayette

Laurel Smith

2nd Grade

Mrs. Smith holds a B.S. in Education from Ball State University and a Master of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Design from Indiana Wesleyan University. She and her husband attend N'Spire in Westfield.

Christina Gibson

2nd Grade

Ms. Gibson graduated from Hope College. For the past several years, Ms. Gibson had the joy of being a full-time homeschool mom—teaching, learning, and growing alongside her children. Before that, she worked as an elementary school teacher, literacy interventionist, and instructional coach. Christina and her family attend Grace PCA.

Amanda Mobley

3rd Grade

Mrs. Mobley graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Music Minor. She and her family attend Harvest Church.

4th Grade Teacher Apprentice

Mrs. Molin graduated with her Associates in Christian Education from College of Athens in Athens, GA, and she is currently a student of Liberty University Online to receive her Bachelors in Elementary Education. Esther and her husband attend Traders Point Christian church.

Mr. Miller graduated and received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University where he studied Social Studies Education. He attends Community Bible Fellowship in Westfield.

Mrs. Molin received an A.A. degree in Bible from Arizona College of the Bible and a B.A. in English from Arizona State University. She and her family attend Community Bible Fellowship in Westfield.

Mr. Payne received a BS in Social Studies Education, and MA in Church History, and an MS in School Leadership from Bob Jones University.

Doug King

Upper School Biology Lab

Doug King has a Masters of Science degree from Michigan State University. He was Vice President of Research for DCL Medical Laboratory from 1988 to 2010. He has travelled globally to lecture on cancer diagnostics as they apply to various clinical trials for drug development. He and his wife Cathy were part of a team that planted The Fields Church in Westfield, Indiana in 2022, where they currently attend. He has two grown daughters and three grandchildren. Frank Vergara

Physical Education Teacher & Athletic Director

Mr. Vergara graduated from IUPUI. He is retired from the US Army – Thank you for your service Mr. Vergara! He and his family attend College Park church.

Nathan Perry

Lower School Music & Music Studio Teacher- Piano & Trumpet

Nathan started playing the piano for church services in middle school and has been on music ministry staff since 1996. He earned undergraduate (cum laude) and graduate music degrees from Butler University, where he studied piano with Martin Marks, Panayis Lyras and Gary Walters.

Leslie Camara

Upper School Choir & Music Studio Teacher - Piano

Leslie Camara began studying piano at the age of 7. Her love of choir developed as she sang in both high school and church choirs. She also played piano for all of her high school musicals.Mrs. Camara and her family attend One Fellowship Church.

Joyce Vickery

K-1 Music Teacher

Mrs. Vickery holds a BM in Musical Composition from Indiana University and loves teaching and writing music for kids. She is married to violinist Peter Vickery (Indianapolis Symphony), and together they homeschool their eight creative children. The Vickery's are members of Faith Church.

Trish Sims

Art

Mrs. Sims has been teaching art in the area for 20 years. She and her husband, along with their two grown children, are members of Castleton Community Church.

Missy Dharma

Introduction to Graphic Design Teacher, Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

Mrs. Dharma graduated from Butler University in 2009 with a B.S. in Elementary Education, Minor in Special Ed. and in 2014 with a M.A. in Effective Teaching and Leadership. She and her family attend College Park Church.

Lora Dodson

Academic Assistant

Mrs. Dodson holds a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Butler University and a Masters of Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University. She and her family attend College Park Church.

Kelli Smith

Academic Assistant

Mrs. Smith earned an Associates of Applied Sciences degree from the International Business College. She enjoys serving in children’s church. She is passionate about children becoming lifelong learners and seeing the beauty in God’s Creation. She and her husband, Matt, have two daughters and a son who will be attending CDA as they grow. In her free time she enjoys learning ASL and holding her cat, George. Her and her family attend Life Church in Noblesville.

Lindsay Jensen

Mrs. Jensen holds a Master's Degree from Purdue University in Youth Development and Agricultural Education. She and her family attend Cornerstone Bible Church in Westfield.
