Pre-Kindergarten

Program look like?

Coram Deo offers several program options:

1) Half-day, 4 days a week program from 8:00-12:40 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

2) Full-day, 4 days a week program from 8:00-3:15 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

3) Full-day, 5 days a week program from 8:00-3:15 Monday-Friday.

Our prekindergarten has a unique opportunity to unite with our Kindergarten, Lower School and Upper School for Thursday chapel as well as lunch and recess. This exposure not only reflects our practice of “Big takes care of little,” but also helps prepare students for future school experiences.  

A small class size provides the ideal atmosphere as your child learns Bible, language arts, drawing and tracing, mathematics, music, art, poetry as well as proper behavior and manners that cultivate the fruit of the Spirit. 

Readiness for PreK: 

Our Pre-Kindergarten program involves more structured academic activities in the morning than some preschool settings. Children must be 4 years old by the start of school. They should also be fully potty trained by the first day of school. Readiness for PreK is assessed during the admissions process based on a student’s early awareness of letters, numbers, shapes and colors. They should also be ready to follow the instructions of their teacher.
