Lower School

Kendall Hinton
Pre-Kindergarten

BIO:  Kendall Hinton studied women’s ministry at Boyce College in Louisville Kentucky. She spent over eight years as a teacher in children’s ministry at her church and four years homeschooling her children in preschool. Due to her love for Coram Deo, classical education and the desire to teach again, she spent two years as a substitute teacher. She and her family attend Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

DeeDee Feeney
Lead Teacher & Kindergarten

BIO: DeeDee Feeney started CDA’s full-day Kindergarten program in 2010, but she began teaching while still in college. After graduating from Wingate University with a degree in Elementary Education, she taught for six years before staying home with her five children. She aims to establish the building blocks of a good education and instill in children a love for learning. She and her husband attend Community Bible Fellowship.

Julie Kilmer
Kindergarten

BIO:  Julie Kilmer attended Purdue University for her undergraduate and graduate studies in Elementary Education. Her experience includes serving as a classroom teacher for children ranging from K-4th Grade, a Preschool/Director in Vermont, and a Children’s Minister for a local Indianapolis church.  In her free time, she enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling. She and her husband Roger attend Trinity Baptist Church in Westfield.

Amy Ashley
1st Grade

BIO: Amy Ashley holds a B.A. from Ball State University in Elementary Education. Amy also studied special education through Taylor University and has a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from The American College of Education. Her experience includes 20 years of teaching in both public and private schools grades preschool-5th grade, curriculum development and instruction, and the Children’s Director at a local Indianapolis church. She and her family attends Northview Church in Carmel.

Jaima Kinsler
1st Grade

BIO:  Jaima Kinsler attended Indiana University Bloomington and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Her experience includes teaching kindergarten through 3rd grade in Austin, TX, Geist Montessori School, Indianapolis Public Schools, and most recently in Westfield. She is excited to join the CDA family. Her family attends Cornerstone Bible Church in Westfield.

Laurel Smith
2nd Grade

BIO: Laurel Smith holds a B.S. in Education from Ball State University and a Master of Arts from Indiana Wesleyan University. Prior to accepting her position at CDA, she taught for Pike Township, Carmel-Clay, and Westfield Schools. Mrs. Smith also served on the district-wide committee for writing rubrics and planning for the original web-based report card.  Mrs. Smith has a passion for teaching and reading Bible songs to young children. Her family attends N’SPIRE Church in Westfield.

Kim Warman
3rd Grade

BIO: Kimberly Warman graduated from a Classical Christian high school and then Hillsdale College with a specialty in English and Classical Education, and she loves being in the classroom. Her mission is to inspire her students to glorify God, strive for excellence, and love others well. When she is not teaching 9-year-olds, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sipping coffee in her garden. She and her husband attend College Park Church.

Timothy Quandt
4th Grade

BIO: After graduating from Taylor University where he studied Christian Education, Bible, and Philosophy, Timothy has spent over 20 years in education in both private and public schools, churches, and universities, teaching students ranging from K-12 through college.  He also earned an MA from Talbot School of Theology, and a PhD from Claremont Graduate University studying the works of Irish bishop and philosopher, George Berkeley. He and his family attend Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Carmel.

Julie Griffin
Curriculum Director & 5th Grade

BIO: Julie Griffin graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a degree in Elementary Education. Before joining CDA in 2017, she taught in traditional Christian schools for twenty years. In teaching, her goal is to engage students in learning more about God, His story, and His world so they will desire to be lifelong learners prepared to advance His work and kingdom on earth. Her family attends Harvest Church.

Betsy Richmann
6th Grade, Actors Guild

Bio: Betsy Richmann grew up attending a Christian classical school which fueled her desire to teach. She attended Taylor University and has a degree in elementary education and completed her student teaching at Coram Deo Academy. She is passionate about discipling students and aims to point them to the Lord in and through her classroom. She attends College Park Church and is thrilled to join the Coram Deo family.

Vince Cutrona
Upper School Omnibus, Latin

BIO: Holding a BA in History and Greek from Calvin University and an MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Vince Cutrona is a dedicated lifelong learner. Prior to teaching at CDA, he taught for five years in a classical Christian context with 7th-12th graders. He enjoys sharing his love of learning with students. He and his wife attend Redeemer Presbyterian Church.

Aaron Delph
Upper School Omnibus, Math/Science

BIO: Aaron Delph holds a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Purdue University and is currently pursuing an MDiv through the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Aaron joined the staff at Coram Deo after spending time as a Pastoral Assistant at Castleview Church.  He enjoys helping his students learn to love God through studying a range of topics from math to the Bible.  He and his wife Becky attend The Fields Church in Westfield.

Tori Hickok
Upper School Math/Science

BIO: Tori Hickok graduated from Maranatha Baptist University with a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education. Her 19 years of teaching experience include public high school, private schools, and homeschool co-ops. In teaching math and science, she longs to lead students to see the wonder of God’s creation and lead them to worship Him as their Lord and Savior while engaging with each student as a unique person. Tori and her family attend Pennington Park Church in Fishers.

Danielle Weirich
Upper School Omnibus, Latin

BIO: After graduating with a B.A. in History from Patrick Henry College, Danielle Weirich chose to continue her life-long learning through teaching. She began teaching at Coram Deo in 2017. Her passion as a teacher in the Coram Deo Academy School of Logic is to “turn heads” toward the perennial truth that God has chosen to reveal about Himself through and to His creation. Her family attends Grace Church.

DeAnna Gipson
Art

BIO: DeAnna Gipson graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Geography. She also has a vocational degree in graphic design from J. Everette Light. DeAnna is passionate about making the world around her a more beautiful place. On top of being our Art Teacher, DeAnna is a freelance/contract graphic design artist. She lives in Whitestown with her husband Chris, they welcomed their first child in September. DeAnna and her family attend Traders Point Church.

Emma Foss
Music

BIO: Emma Foss graduated in 2019 from Bob Jones University with a B.S. in Music Education. Alongside CDA, she teaches music classes at The Music Playhouse, as well as private piano lessons. Her musical knowledge spans piano, violin, guitar, ukulele, recorder, voice, percussion, flute, trumpet, and cello. Mrs. Foss believes music is an essential and beneficial part of children’s education. She and her husband Andrew attend Noblesville Baptist Church.

Chad Lesnet
Physical Education

BIO: Chad Lesnet holds a B.S. in Finance from Purdue University where he was a member of the track team. Prior to joining the staff at Coram Deo, Chad held senior management finance positions in the transportation and mortgage industries as well as serving as an executive pastor. Chad is also our athletic director and coaches our cross country and track teams. Chad and his family attend Genesis Church.

Lora Dodson
Academic Assistant

BIO: Lora Dodson holds a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Butler University and a Masters of Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University. Prior to staying home with her children, she worked in Pike Township and Carmel Clay Schools as a speech-language pathologist. She is passionate about children loving Jesus and becoming lifelong learners. Her family attends College Park Church North Indy.

Ann Gustitus
Academic Assistant

BIO: Ann Gustitus graduated from Anderson University with a B.A. in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement.  She taught 4th-6th grades at Summit Academy for six years. For the past several years she has been a preschool teacher in Noblesville and loves teaching children reading skills. She is passionate about children having a heart for Jesus and a love for learning. Her family attends White River Christian Church. 

Amy Poer
PreK Assistant

Amy Poer holds a Bachelor of Art degree from DePauw University.  Prior to her new endeavor of assisting in the preK classroom at CDA, Amy stayed at home while raising six precious children, finding a love for hosting moms, children, and families of all stages and ages in her home.  Amy has a great appreciation for Classical Christian education, health and wellness, beautiful stories, and opportunities for people to connect with others around a meal at her table. The Poers attend Antioch Indy.

Michelle Quandt
Academic Assistant

BIO: Michelle Quandt holds degrees from both Portland State University and Concordia University, Irvine. She has served in various educational roles including substitute teacher at CDA. She and her family attend Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Carmel.

Michelle Schall
Academic Assistant

BIO: Michelle Schall holds a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Taylor University and a Master’s of Social Work from Indiana University. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, she worked as a school social worker in the Carmel school district. She fell in love with classical education because it shares the greatest story, God’s story, and fosters a love for learning seeing Him in all things. Her family attends College Park Church in Fishers.

David Seibel
Head of School 

BIO: As the Head of School, David Seibel aims to cultivate a generation of scholar-disciples who are passionate about learning. He is husband to Brooke and father of two current and an additional two future Coram Deo students. David earned his Doctorate of Education from Southern Theological Seminary. David’s Doctoral dissertation focused on the leadership contributions to school growth using the organizational theory of Ichak Adizes, describing how schools mature over time. David also holds an MDiv from Southern Theological Seminary, an MEd from Marian University, a BA in Economics and Spanish from Wabash College, and has participated in BaseCamp Live. His family attends Cornerstone Bible Church.

Jason Barney
Principal

BIO: Jason Barney was awarded the Henry Salvatori Prize for Excellence in Teaching from Hillsdale College in 2012. He completed his MA in Biblical Exegesis at Wheaton College, where he received The Tenney Award in New Testament Studies. He previously served as the Academic Dean at Clapham School in Wheaton, IL. He recently published A Short History of Narration and blogs on ancient wisdom for the modern era at www.educationalrenaissance.com. His family attends The Fields Church in Westfield.

Susan MacKay
Academy Assistant

BIO: Susan MacKay holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University with a specialization in Hospitality Management. She worked in hotel operations and sales before transitioning to the financial industry where she held her AAP accreditation for eight years. Upon moving after 14 years of living in Arizona, Susan and her husband Mark sought a school that would provide a classical education for their daughter. Her family attends Christ’s Community Church in Fishers.

Linda Hoyt
Receptionist

BIO: Linda Hoyt began her professional career as a RN, took time off to raise her daughter and returned to work as a teacher’s assistant at her daughter’s school. She enjoyed working with the children so much
that she returned to college and graduated from California Baptist University with a B.A. in Education. She spent the next 14 years teaching second and third grade in a classical Christian school. Linda and her
family recently moved to Westfield and attend Cornerstone Bible Church.
